Dr. Ramy Abou Ghayda

Skills and Experience

Dr. Ramy is an academic Assistant Professor of Urology and the Associate Program Director of the Urology residency program at the Urology Institute, University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University. His clinical and research projects revolve around Men’s Health, health system sciences, and healthcare disparities, aiming to make a tangible difference among those affected communities. Alongside his clinical and research work, he is the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at GiveLegacy, a pioneering venture capital-funded startup company based in New York. His interest in healthcare startups and investment grew naturally from his clinical work and role as CMO helped him gain a deep understanding of healthcare's challenges and opportunities. Dr. Ramy has co-authored and been involved in 60 peer-reviewed publications to date.

Dr. Ramy is a member of the American Urological Association, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Lebanese Red Cross.

 Education

Dr. Ramy completed a B.S in Biology and an MD degree from the American University of Beirut . Additionally, Ramy holds an M.A in Healthcare Administration from École des Hautes Études en Santé Publique (EHESP), M.A in Public Health- Global Health and Population from Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, and an MBA from Northwestern University.
